Inspired by the legendary figure that is The Lady of the Lake. This piece is for all those who believe that the isle of Avalon is shrouded in mist, hidden from sight until such a time when King Arthur shall be needed once more.
Meticulously hand-drawn with fine pens and paintbrushes, I wanted this piece to feel like an illustration in an illuminated medieval text. I decided to emphasise the borders of this work to really draw you into the piece and invite you into the watery world of the Lady of the Lake.
